Banquet halls built for big celebrations
Des Plaines has several large banquet halls, many of them close to O'Hare, which makes them convenient for families with guests flying in for weddings, baptism receptions and milestone birthdays. Ballrooms that seat several hundred people call for decor that reads from across the room.
A Grand Arch Installation from $900 fits that scale: three or more panels, layered garlands in chrome and pearl, and a neon sign behind the head table or dessert display. We coordinate load-in with the venue's schedule.
Lake Opeka and park district rooms
The Des Plaines Park District rents the Shoreline Room at Lakeview Center, which faces Lake Opeka, plus rooms at Prairie Lakes Community Center. These are popular for baby showers, christening lunches and kids' birthdays.
The lake view is a feature, so we keep the backdrop to one side with a Signature Arch Setup from $600 and soft colors. In a community center room, a Classic Arch Setup from $300 gives the party a clear focal point.
Fall Fest and seasonal parties
September brings Des Plaines Fall Fest to Lake Park on Lee Street, with music and carnival rides, and early fall is a busy time for first birthdays and gender reveals. Spring and summer fill up with graduations and communions.
Riverside restaurants with private rooms suit smaller showers, where one panel and a garland are all you need.
