Oxalia Events (“we”, “us”) is an event decor business based in Chicago, Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect through oxaliaevents.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you submit our “Get a Quote” form, we collect the details you choose to share:
- Event type, preferred package, event date and city or ZIP code
- Your name and phone number
- Your preferred way to be contacted and, if you choose, your Instagram handle
- Any colors, theme notes or inspiration links you add
We also record which button or page you came from and the website or campaign that referred you (for example, Instagram), so we understand how people find us. Our hosting provider automatically processes standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the website.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed and how many quote requests are sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. We have turned off Google advertising features (Google signals and ad personalization), and we never send your name, phone number or other form details to Google. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How we use your information
- To reply to your request, prepare a quote and answer your questions
- To confirm dates, details, delivery and setup for your event
- To keep basic records of inquiries and bookings
- To protect our website and form from spam and abuse
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you:
- Cloudflare — website hosting and processing of form submissions
- Telegram — delivers new quote requests privately to our team
- Google — website analytics (no form details are shared)
- Our phone and text messaging provider — to call or text you back
We may also disclose information if required by law.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your phone number and agree to be contacted, we may text you about your inquiry or booking — for example, to send a quote or confirm your event details. These are one-to-one conversations, not marketing campaigns. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details only as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services and keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices

Children
Our website is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
