Riverfront rooms with their own character
Downtown St. Charles has a polished, historic feel, and many bridal showers and milestone birthdays happen in rooms that already make a statement, like Hotel Baker's Rainbow Room with its lighted floor and river views. In a space like that, decor should frame the room rather than compete with it: a fluted panel, a pearl garland and a few faux floral accents.
Country club ballrooms with golf course views work the same way. A backdrop placed along a side wall lets photos catch daylight without blocking the windows.
Outdoor parties along the Fox
The St. Charles Park District rents outdoor pavilions from April through October, including the River Pavilion at Pottawatomie Park. A garland on a freestanding arch turns a picnic shelter into a real party space for a graduation or a first birthday.
Outdoors, we use weighted frames, plan placement around sun and wind, and can adjust the layout if the forecast changes.
Seasonal color ideas
Fall is a lively season here. Scarecrow Weekend fills downtown each October, and Holiday Homecoming lights up the city in late November. Parties around those weekends can lean into the season: rust, cream and chrome gold for autumn, or deep evergreen with pearl white in December.
If your event is downtown during a festival weekend, mention it when booking so we can plan delivery and parking.
